This Privacy Policy explains what data Verdant, operated by Nightbloom Studio, collects and how we use it. We try to collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data.
1. What We Collect
- Account information: your email address and authentication data.
- Plant care data: plant nicknames, species, watering schedules, growth photos, watering events, and any notes you add.
- Usage analytics: anonymous, aggregated information about how the app is used (page views, feature usage) to help us improve Verdant.
2. How We Use Data
- To provide and personalize the service (dashboard, reminders, growth logs).
- To send emails you have opted into (watering reminders, weekly reports, milestones). You can turn each type off in Settings.
- To improve Verdant and diagnose issues.
3. Storage
Account data, plant records, and growth photos are stored on Supabase, our managed backend and storage provider. Photos are kept in a private bucket accessible only to you via signed URLs.
4. Third Parties
- Paddle processes payments for Premium subscriptions. Paddle receives only what's required to complete the transaction; no plant data is ever shared.
- We do not share your plant data or photos with advertisers or data brokers.
5. We Do Not Sell Your Data
Verdant does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
6. Your Rights
You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@nightbloom.studio. Deletion permanently removes your account, plants, and photos from our systems.
7. Cookies
We use only session and authentication cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
Verdant is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
