Welcome to Verdant ("Verdant", "we", "us"), a plant care tracking service operated by Nightbloom Studio. By creating an account or otherwise using Verdant, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Verdant, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
Verdant is a plant care companion that lets you log plants, receive watering reminders, keep growth photo timelines, and enjoy secret dreamy features. Verdant is offered on a Free tier and a paid Premium tier as described on our Pricing page.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 13 years old to use Verdant.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Premium is billed monthly at the price shown on the Pricing page, in your local currency where supported.
- Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record and handles applicable taxes.
- Your subscription auto-renews each billing cycle until cancelled by you.
- You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use Verdant for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity; (b) attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; (c) upload content that infringes others' rights or violates applicable law; or (d) use the service to harass or harm others.
6. Intellectual Property
Verdant, including its name, brand, illustrations, animations, code, and design system, is owned by Nightbloom Studio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your plant data and photos, and you grant us a limited license to store and display that content solely to operate the service for you.
7. Limitation of Liability
Verdant is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nightbloom Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any plant that quietly gives up on life.
8. Termination
You may stop using Verdant at any time and delete your account from Settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for the service or other users.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of Verdant after changes means you accept them.
